There are very few brands, let alone individuals, who by the slightest of presence are globally recognisable.

Sir David Attenborough is one such individual. I remember as a child our entire Sunday would be arranged in order that we would be fed, walked, and bathed in time for Sir David’s arrival in our living room (via the BBC of course).

To work with the man himself many years later was truly one of those times when you simply attempt to absorb as much as possible.

I’m not sure how we got onto the subject, however, around the campfire one night I do remember asking him, given everything he’s done, and seen, and experienced, what was his favourite thing? His answer was his front door key, when at the end of it all he returns home to those he cherishes.

Sir David at 95, forever young, forever brilliant. An icon to us all. Talk less and listen more to those who have something to say.
